Football can get a little too rough for everyone’s liking at times. But behind all those hard tackles, dented noses and sometimes broken spirits, is a softer side that men hesitate to bare. The truth is, it’s okay to cry, to let those around you know how you feel, to put out to the world a side to you that you aren’t ashamed of. A year ago, I bared my heart to the nation asking for support for our national football team and the response was beyond what I could have ever imagined. That day I realised that it’s okay to let your guard down even if it means not coming across as ‘tough’.
Axe India challenges male stereotypes urging boys to stop worrying about “Log Kya Kahenge” and #MakeYourOwnRules instead. With Arre , we have created a platform to help boys pour their hearts out. I’ve done my part! #AbTeriBaari
