I am very proud to become an official patron for the Nelson Mandela Memorial Campaign Group.
For all South Africans, Mandela remains an inspiration and an example to which we should all aspire. He understood the need for us to engage with people - to speak, to listen and to understand - and he knew the importance of bringing people together.
