After tagging along with my brother at his soccer practice at the age of 5, I was hooked. Now, 25 years later I'm ready to leave the game that has given me more than I could have ever imagined. Through soccer I have traveled to places that have astonished me, I have met people who have enriched my life, and for that I will be forever grateful. This game has shaped me, challenged me, pushed me, rewarded me, and both made me into the person I am today and equipped me with tools I need for the next chapter to come.

I want to thank FC Bayern for being my family for 3.5 years, I will never underestimate the importance this club played both in my professional career and in my life. The way I was welcomed when I first arrived, made me realize that I was now a part of something bigger than me, something bigger than just one player or one team. I was playing a role in the shaping of a culture that has been built piece by piece by all the players wearing that jersey over the years. You get to wear the jersey with the FCB logo on your heart, you represent the history of the whole club, and it's up to you to add that tiny piece of heart into the club's equation. I gave it my all and hope that my piece will contribute.

I also want to thank SKINS for my partnership with them. It has been an honor representing their brand and with the high level of quality, their gear has improved my recovery which has helped lengthened my career. I will continue to wear your products with pride!

Finally, a huge thanks to my family and friends. They have made the same sacrifices as I have, and they have supported me and stood by my side through every decision I have made. I would not have had all these experiences without your encouragement and acceptance. I love you!
