June 2019 ↔️ June 2015 | Life sure has its ups and downs. Last night I had so much emotion built up inside after I was brought down to the pitch of the opening match of the #FIFAWWC. Exactly 4 years ago I was about to debut in my first Women’s World Cup when my Achilles’ tendon tore on me just less than a week before our first game. Today, 4 years later, and despite the major down i experienced... I am so blessed to where football has continued to being me. It was surely a bittersweet moment as we are missing out on this World Cup. However, I was so entirely ignited with joy to have had a this special moment after everything I went through as a player and now through all the hustle I do outside the pitch. All I can say is- ♾ La vida da muchas vueltas - Life sure takes a lot of turns. ♾ Be Happy. Always smile. Stay grounded. Have faith.
