I am often asked about the highlight of my career so far. And no doubt, being World Champion is obviously the greatest thing ever. Wearing a gold medal is a breathtaking reward, and to be honest, it becomes an addiction. But you know what? That success is a journey, a long process with thousands of little moments, finally get you to your goal, the good and the bad, the smiling and the crying. So if you ask me about the highlights of my career, you better be ready for some breathtaking stories with epic ends. Be ready for moments filled with luck, fear, doubt and ambition at the same time. But most important, be ready for people investing in you. People who force you to be a little more yourself, by teaching you how to believe in your strength. People who know better, and spend their time to give you a lesson.
And if you are willing to learn, I promise you, there will be teachers you will never forget; cause the real highlights, they happen behind the scenes.
