In 2017 we said goodbye to Wheatsheaf Park, our home for the last few seasons. We also missed out on a place in the @ssewomensfacup. I broke my little finger two days before our semi-final against @bcfcwomen and the team almost made it through but lost in the penalty shootout.

When we were back in Birmingham later on that season we got to celebrate our win in the Spring Series.

In the fall we got to play against @fcbfrauen in what might be might best game in @uwcl for @chelseafcw. A 1-0 win was followed by a 2-1 defeat away, and the crucial away goal by @frankirby saw us go through.

In 2017 more Scandinavians joined the club and our mission to play another type of defense than the woman-woman inspired type was implement more and more.
